Ken Ogelo
Ken Ogelo (BSc in Economics, Mathematics, and Computer Science; Microsoft System Engineer) is a humanitarian, social innovator, and advocate for the dignity of Kenya’s elderly.
Born in Homa Bay County, Ken was inspired by his late grandmother to address the neglect, poverty, and isolation many elders face. With over 20 years of experience in community development, youth empowerment, and elder care, he founded the Ken Ogelo Foundation for the Elderly to restore respect, care, and hope for aging populations.
Ken’s work spans grassroots organizing, nonprofit development, and policy engagement. Under his leadership, the Foundation launched the Malaika Care Program, blending practical elder care with community empowerment. A humble servant leader, Ken continues to champion elders’ rights, believing that how we treat them defines the soul of our nation.
Apollo Mboya
Apollo Mboya is a distinguished Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with extensive expertise in international treaties,human rights, and legal reform. He holds a BA in Political Science and History, LLB, a Master’s in International Studies (Diplomacy & International Relations), a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Rights from The Hague.
He has served as Legal Specialist at UNDP, State Counsel in the Department of Treaties and Agreements, and Joint Secretary for Kenya’s Task Force on Judicial Reforms. A Commissioner at the Law Reform Commission, Apollo’s legal acumen and dedication to justice strengthen the Foundation’s mission to protect the rights and dignity of elders.
Michelle Richmond
Michelle Richmond brings a strong understanding of the social and systemic challenges facing vulnerable communities, shaped by hands-on engagement and a deep commitment to social impact. Her perspective supports the Foundation’s work with clarity, empathy, and purpose.
As a board member of the Ken Ogelo Foundation, Michelle contributes strategic insight and a holistic approach to elderly empowerment, mental wellness, and community transformation. Her leadership strengthens the Foundation’s mission to create inclusive, sustainable impact for underserved populations.
Vita G. Tucker
Technical Advisory.
Vita G. Tucker brings over 20 years of strategic leadership spanning U.S. federal governance and international development across East Africa. Her work reflects a deep commitment to strengthening institutions, expanding local leadership capacity, and building sustainable systems that uplift vulnerable communities. Through her leadership with World Vision U.S., she supported multi-sector initiatives in education, public health, agriculture, water and sanitation, and community development across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Ethiopia, aligning programs with donor frameworks and fostering cross-continental partnerships.
Prior to retiring from the U.S. federal government, Vita served in the Congressional Research Service Government and Finance Division, where she strengthened performance systems and governance processes at a national level. For the Ken Ogelo Foundation, she brings the governance discipline, global perspective, and strategic oversight required to position the Foundation for international partnerships, donor confidence, and sustainable, community-centered impact.
Rebecca Onyango
CPA Rebecca Onyango is an experienced ,with over 15 years of expertise in tax consulting and audit management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Nairobi and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with strong professional experience in revenue administration and financial compliance.

Dr Sam Omolo
A medical research scientist for the Ken Ogelo Foundation, he brings expertise in public health research and evidence-based program design. He guides the foundation in developing effective, data-driven health initiatives that improve outcomes and support community well-being.

Enos Odhiambo
Enos Odhimabo is a finance and grants management specialist with 17+ years’ experience in humanitarian and development projects. He manages multi-million-dollar donor-funded grants, ensuring compliance, financial excellence, and accountable, high-performing finance teams.
