As the Ken Ogelo Foundation we are passionate about poultry farming. It’s one of the many projects we have that is generally community integral. It encompasses our focus on sustainable and equitable outcomes that will lead to food security, income generating sources thus empowering farmers leading to improved livelihoods for the community.
The vision of the poultry farm is to become a major producer of poultry products in our community through provision of healthy chicken and chicken products.
We have a mission to improve the health of the people in the community through supplies of good quality chicken meat, eggs and pass knowledge to the elderly and other farmers on how to use modern ways to rear chicken which will improve their output leading to increased profits hence giving them better income.
We also envision to expand the poultry farm to more farms which will not only focus on just chicken but other domestic fowls like turkeys, geese and ducks; raised for the production of meat.
